A great location and very...

Liked: A friendly welcome and a lovely room. The food was excellent.
Disliked: No issues. Very clean and tidy.

We’ll be back next year.

Liked: The breakfast was included, it was plentiful, offers a good choice.Ample parking. Good location with plenty of walks, easy access to the Thames path. Walk to the river, turn left, walk along to the Bounty Pub and enjoy a refreshing drink, food is available.
Disliked: Accommodation clean but tired, decor needs a refresh. The carpet could do with being replaced, maybe a hard floor in the entrance to Room 3. It has plenty of space, large bathroom with shower over bath.

Not a good experience

Liked: The location. The bed was comfortable.
Disliked: No toiletries in the bathroom. Bathroom radiator was full on - in August? No ventilation - the room smelt musty and the window had no stay so could not securely leave open. Breakfast was generally poor: incinerated bacon, crispy eggs and the eggs benedict were served on brown toast no muffin as on the menu. We were asked if we would like fruit juice and we had 2 glasses of orange juice. We then ordered 2 cups of tea and were given a bill for £5.40. We had not read the small print - one drink per person.We were staying 2 nights and we were out for the second day. On our return we discovered 5 men setting up for the event the following evening so no privacy at all. Furthermore the room had not been made up. We called the manager and he said it might be difficult getting a cleaner on friday afternoon. We considered leaving when the manager offered us a bottle of wine as compensation. Nice but.If you've read the above please be assured that I rarely leave a review and have never left a bad review but I felt this time it was justified.

Liked: It’s a great spot and a lovely pub. Staff are great
Disliked: The room hadn’t been cleaned, urine in the wc and clearly not cleaned. Sadly had to leave before we could stay, emailed to see if we could get a refund, but no response at all sadly
