Liked: Beautiful place, friendly staff and fabulous food
Disliked: Nothing!

Nice room but average

Liked: The room was well apportioned, the bed was comfortable and had a TV and usual tea/coffee supplies should we have needed them. The bathroom was nicely finished with a powerful rainfall shower.
Disliked: There was a nasty smell permeating from our bathroom that hit you when you went into the section of the hotel. It smelled like something had died in the wall. It was raised at check out and handled well. Breakfast was nice enough with a good selection but pretty average tasting.

Good value for money and...

Liked: Nice historic building. Large car park. Several reception/siting areas downstairs. Good breakfast
Disliked: Some receptions/restaurant open plan areas can not be used after restaurant closes (we were asked to leave)

Liked: Position of the hotel, on the high street. Big car park at back of hotel. Lovely breakfast, good choice of food. Very friendly, helpful staff.
Disliked: Wish the evening menu had more choice, quite expensive. Our room was quite small and dark but very clean and bed was very comfortable.

Relaxing , just what we...

Liked: It was so clean and the staff were really luvly.
Disliked: Well we had a snug room which was fine but the bed was on wheels so every time we sat or leant against it it moved. The tv was really small too. But these are really minor issues.

Exceptional

Liked: I have visited many times and I'm never disappointed. The happy hour cocktails are fabulous, the decor and ambience of the hotel are wonderful and the staff are always welcoming.
Disliked: Leaving and having to go back to work!
