Liked: Proper old pub. Great staff. Fabulous food. Super linen/towels. Fun Sherry provided in room.

Liked: My room was very nice and comfortable. A nice touch was the delivery of fresh milk each day.

Very good
Liked: Good room annexed from the main pub, very handy when taking our dog out.very friendly and helpful landlord and staff. Will be staying again 😃.
Disliked: Menu a little bit low on choice and a tad high on price. Had to ask daily for milk , it was delivered fresh every morning but was taken away by the cleaning staff whilst we were out.

Liked: The atmosphere, the staff, good wholesome food, ease of check-in, clean and beautifully presented room, the location and the overall attention to detail..will stay again and highly recommend..felt very spoilt!

Liked: The location, the breakfast, the atmosphere, the owner went above and beyond to ensure our stay was the best it could be. The locals were so welcoming. The staff were really friendly
Disliked: Unfortunately we our meal on the Saturday night was terrible.

Superb
Liked: Comfortable, quiet, cosy rooms. My room even had a decanter with some whiskey in it. Milk outside your door in the morning. Great location, the staff were brilliant but the food was unbelievable!!!! Amazing food, and the breakfast was just as good also. Whether you stay here or not or close by, at least go for the food.
Disliked: Shower was a bit weak but the building is 800 years old so this is minor/negligible in my opinion compared the experience, atmosphere and the food.
