Fabulous little place

Liked: Lovely cosy room, very comfy bed.Good food in the pub & friendly staff. Perfect location for walking to the Colwith Farm Distillery & farm shop

The perfect place to stay...

Liked: Superb country pub with good food, several real ales and a friendly, helpful and interesting landlord. Comfortable, tidy, well equipped and spotlessly clean rooms. The pub also has beautifully kept gardens and plenty of parking. (Top tip: When approaching from the East/Lostwithiel, ignore the sat nav telling you to turn right down a very narrow road and carry on until you see the brown sign to the Crown!)
Disliked: One or two more jams/preserves to go with the buffet breakfast.

Lovely place, shame about the...

Liked: Lovely place in a beautiful setting. Very lovely pub and nice room
Disliked: The shower had really low pressure, and when we let the proprietor know about this, he was a bit sarcastic and rude about it as if he took offence to the fact we were letting him know there was something worth looking at.We didn’t complain that the shower was low pressure, just let him know about it, so there was no need for him to act like that.Really put a downer on it all.Some other sarcastic comment about timing when we asked about food timing due to my wife’s diabetes.Some other small things like no shampoo and conditioner in the shower and all that, but no problem really
