The Crown Inn

Charming location.

Liked: Everything good quality and spotlessly clean, comfortable bed. Food excellent.
Disliked: Some sort of motorised thing kept starting & stopping all night, disrupting my sleep. Also the real ale a bit warm & flat but that’s maybe down to the northerner in me.

Liked: Breakfast was good - lunch snack good but a little slow in service - quaint old property
Disliked: Our stay coincided with a hot day/night and the room was very hot with an inadequate fan - air conditioning needs to be improved.

Overall first class

Liked: Wonderful old building. Good location and excellent breakfast.
Disliked: Eccentric plumbing but probably to be expected in a property this old.

A beautiful place to stay...

Liked: Very good dinner - we didn't have a big breakfast (we were going to a pub for lunch) but it was fine. The Crown had a great atmosphere and the staff were all very helpful.
Disliked: Nothing comes to mind.
