Exceptional

Liked: The staff at the hotel made this an excellent stay. They were helpful, friendly, and fun particularly Caroline and Sandra. Caroline gave us lots of helpful advice and travel tips. They always seemed so happy. Food was great, location perfect and the hotel was value for money. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.
Disliked: Lack of parking.

Liked: Great evening meal made up for the room, which was a bit disappointing. Need a bit of a makeover.
Disliked: The showe in the bath was not attached as an over bath shower. There was no screen. Essentially, it was a bath only.

Convenient when walking the SWCP

Liked: Breakfast fine. Nice place. We were upgraded to a better room.
Disliked: Nothing really.

Liked: Good breakfast. Good location. Nice town if a little quiet. Great walking country.
Disliked: Poor transport from Lynmouth

Disliked: On top is steep hill, if you cannot catch the train before 6 pm it is steep to walk up

Liked: Breakfast was excellent,so were staff and location.Room comfortable,good quality linen and towels.
Disliked: Parking was an issue, had to pay in nearby car park.Extractor fan blowing food smells into our room.Couldn't work coffee machine but staff said we could have had a kettle, we should have asked, they were very helpful.
