Historic hotel in the centre...

Liked: A characterful, rambling former coaching inn.. Breakfast was generous and hearty - smoked salmon and scrambled egg very good - and the staff were very friendly and had a nice rapport with longer -staying guests.

fantastic pub bnb just off...

Liked: The room was huge and bathroom spotless - even had a bath which was appreciated after a day's walking on the coastal path through lots of mud! All the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful - and lovely to just be able to go downstairs for a hearty meal and pint in the pub. The room was very comfortable and quiet (we were above the restaurant). I would definitely stay again.
