Liked: Fantastic location , beautiful old hotel. Large room.
Disliked: Lack of plug sockets in the room, we'd upgraded our room it was lovely and big but very plain no wow about it.

Overnight stay

Liked: The location was excellent, right in the centre for the bars and restaurants we visited. Couldn't get booked in the car park, but there was one only a 2 minute walk away. Decent sized room & comfy bed. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice. Would stay again if we ever come back to Harrogate.
Disliked: Although the room was ok, the window was very small in the corner of the room with only a view of a roof & surrounded by other rooms, which made it very dark & dingy with hardly any natural light. There was only one socket halfway up the wall next to the bathroom door, which wasn't ideal. The only other one was for the kettle. The bathroom was quite small, as was the walk-in shower. Needs a makeover & when reading other reviews this seems to be the general consensus of opinions.
