Disliked: Room was clean and tidy but next to extractor fans and heating fans very noisy woken up at 5am went off around 9pm,not relaxing constant loud humming. Not what you want on a relaxing break. Very disappointed

Disliked: When ordering a Taxi, the process was not explained, no code was given and somewhere guest took my ride. I was late for my appointment

Good location and clean

Liked: Breakfast fine good choice. Dinner ok nothing fancy.Snacks in bar expensive
Disliked: Car parking a nightmare even when booked and paid for. Bar service is poor,and to be served a whisky with drop of water in a half pint glass filled with water was a disgrace.

Liked: Olde worlde hotel.Good facilities.
Disliked: Didn't really enjoy the cooked breakfast but dining room was lovely.

Short Midweek Break

Liked: Friendly staff and welcoming on arrival and throughout our stay.
Disliked: Soap and shampoo dispenser not working correctly at times. Also inadequate electric sockets in room. One socket for kettle also lead for kettle just reached the socket.

Very basic hotel, disappointing stay,...

Liked: The property needs an update and a good clean. Our room had no coasters for our cuppas, tea stains up the wall, and was very basic, not one picture on the wall. It was extremely hot in the rooms, too hot, and the TV kept going off or text kept going small. Staff on desk didn’t know there job as made us move car to back of hotel, and when we said we had, had to move a bollard a different member of staff said we could park back in front of hotel.
Disliked: The property was in a good location and was a reasonable rate.
