Weekend stay when visiting family

Liked: The location is great for us and the added benefit of parking works. I stay here when visiting my son who lives locally and always enjoy the visit.

Liked: I thought the facilities were great. This is our second time staying here but I would say that the room downstairs in the newly refurbished areas were small and tight. I preferred when we stayed upstairs.Not sure I would go back and stay but would visit the pub.

Liked: Wonderfully preserved Edwardian pub / tremendous location
Disliked: Our room (19) was well appointed but badly maintained - floor lamp shade hanging by only one of three supports / shower head would not move up or down its rod / temperature v. hard to adjust / loose take-away cover / stained shower hose
