Liked: Location was good for the centre of Abingdon.
Disliked: Room was rather worn - the decor was very worn and the carpets could do with a deep clean. Breakfast was a bit complicated with it being available to the general public.

Disliked: Carpets were old and dirty. The window in our room did not close and there was a 10cm gap which meant the noise from the passing traffic was audible.

Liked: Full of character, well situated, food (artisan bread made on site) and staff were excellent.
Disliked: Accept that the stairs are naturally narrow and awkward in this very old property but the old and worn carpets are horrible.

Quaint old hotel

Liked: Really friendly and helpful staff and set in a good location near the river Very dog friendly . We had a very nice evening meal there on the first night.
Disliked: It was a dog friendly room and a little on the small side and with noisy fan extractors outside.I would like to have seen more choices of fruit for breakfast.
