Ruined a special weekend away

Liked: Nothing property no longer trades as a guest house
Disliked: Booking.com didn't tell us they'd stopped trading so arrived only to find out we had no accommodation. Booking.com were absolutely useless in resolving (or not resolving) the issue

Liked: It was closed serveal months ago due to death of owner. I was charged for the room by Booking.com. I'm trying to get my refund.
Disliked: Nothing

Disliked: Please don't book this place it's closed down but still took our money we turned up on the day to find out it's not open i was so angry it was our wedding anniversary and had to find other accommodation.booking.com should be on the ball ..ive since spoken with them

Liked: Not open when we arrived. Closed for good and no contact with us to tell us.
Disliked: We had to find alternative accommodation as the place had closed down without contacting us. Now hoping we can get a refund.

Liked: Did not stay in this property
Disliked: We were advised by others on arrival in Stratford that It was closed earlier this year due to the passing of the manager. This explained why we were getting no replies to our telephone messages and emails in the week prior to the booking. We sincerely hope that the booking fee of £421 was which was deducted from our Visa account will be refunded immediately.

Liked: This property was not available when we got there and had not been trading as a business for several months.
Disliked: There was a significant lack of communication between the owner and booking.com

Liked: Breakfast was amazing. Room was great. Lovely to have such a beautifully comfy four-poster bed.
Disliked: The bathroom. Found it very difficult to operate the shower and kept flooding the bathroom no matter how hard we tried not to.
