Lovely pub location and great...

Disliked: Ned a bit hard

Liked: Lovely location, very clean and comfortable. Only issue was that we had a downstairs room and the floor above creaked a LOT!

Delicious food, cosy room and...

Liked: Managed to check in early, which was a bonus. Location and village was idyllic, Staff friendly and very accommodating. Food was hot, fresh and delicious.
Disliked: Mattress on the bed was hard and not to our liking. However I appreciate that is personal preference.Also there was a group of ladies above our room and we could hear every footstep and conversation. Maybe suggest carpet on the upstairs room. These are the only negatives.

Really poor hospatality, considering friends...

Disliked: On the first night a friend who was also staying and had just driven 3 hrs to get there, arrived 8.45pm but they would not serve him with food because the kitchen closed at 9.00, even though the Chef then sat at the bar drinking for half an hour.
