TUCKED AWAY PUB IN PRETTY...

Liked: Traditional pub in a pretty village , with friendly staff and good food . Plenty of seating inside for diners with a pleasant garden outside . They also have their own chickens for breakfast eggs . Sunday lunch was good and breakfast is provided from 10am-12 pm , and there is a wide choice .
Disliked: It would be possible to do a couple of minor upgrades to make the room even more welcoming , but saying that , we'd return because the overall experience was very enjoyable .

Liked: We weren't offered breakfast when we booked although we noticed the venue did offer a late breakfast. Evening meal was great.
Disliked: Parking in a muddy car park was OK but not the best.

Liked: The staff and particulary the lady that served us and showed us to our room had outstanding customer service skills! The food was average.
Disliked: THE noise from the room below kept me up most of the night, we could hear loud television, talking and banging so had a terrible nights sleep. Parking a issue.

Disliked: wifi was poor didnt really reach the rooms shower was poor

A must try and great...

Liked: Amazing little pub with great food, friendly staff, owners and regulars. Really enjoyed our stay and will be back.
Disliked: Not really a dislike but only slightly negative point was that the bathroom in our room was a little tired but still perfectly useable.

Liked: Made to feel welcome.Friendly staff. The pork belly starter is fantastic!I like the access to the room being external to the main property

Pleasant

Liked: It was convenient for our needs. Nicely decorated room. Although cold to start - it soon warmed up.
Disliked: Pillow were poor quality. Room was very cold when we arrived - not sure they were expected as the first question we were asked was when did you book??? (It was a few weeks). Sadly they don’t do breakfast. Room was not part of the pub but down an adjoining lane - not good for heavy cases.
