Overall a very nice stay...

Liked: The location was lovely, the hotel was clean and tidy and the staff were very welcoming. The room was clean and had lovely views over the river Swale and watching the sun go down after our evening meal sitting outside on the patio area was lovely.
Disliked: The menu could have had more choice but what we had was very nice, The breakfast was pricey for what was on offer, same price if you had a cooked breakfast or continental. The sink in our bathroom was far to small, no idea if the same in other rooms.

Liked: It was the attention to detail it was exceptional for the money I paid the food was top notch and the staff were very attentive I literally didn’t leave the hotel for 2 days I slept really well and had everything I needed x

Beautiful hotel in a beautiful...

Liked: We stayed in room 12 which was a deluxe room, very clean, comfortable and large with its own patio area. Unfortunately it was too hot to sit outside as it was in full sun with no shade. It was lovely being able to open the patio doors though to enjoy the far reaching views and sunset. All staff without exception were very friendly, polite and helpful. Both the evening meal and breakfast were very tasty and well presented.
Disliked: There was a function on at the hotel which did impact our stay slightly due to the noise, it certainly would have been more peaceful without the additional numbers drinking throughout the afternoon and evening.

Exactly what we hoped for,...

Liked: Dinner and breakfast were excellent, service was great and view from the hotel was beautiful.
Disliked: Our room had a wonderful view and lovely little balcony to enjoy it from. But it was extremely hot, especially at night, and needed a much better fan than the one provided which was very noisy and did very little if anything to help cool the room.
