Fantastic Hotel and great value!

Liked: Fantastic location. Excellent host, couldn’t do enough for us. We arrived at 10.30am and our room was ready. Can’t recommend this hotel highly enough.
Disliked: Nothing to dislike. The modernisation and refurb taking place is superb.

Well located for the centre...

Liked: The new owners are refurbishing the hotel and doing a lovely job of it. Very friendly and helpful. Altho they are not currently offering breakfast, there is a kitchen and dining area for guests to buse and nearby bakery, shops if you wat to self cater

Perfect stay in York

Liked: The host genuinely cared aboud making my stay comfortable. I felt more like guest at friend's house than just hotel visitor. The location was very good, in a short walking distance from city center. My single room was small, but equiped with everything necessary such as iron, hair dryer. I recommend this hotel, if you are looking for comfortable stay in York. Thank you, Mo!

Best guest house in York

Liked: From the start of stay to the end of are stay at the crescent there was nothing the host could do better at all very welcoming kind host are stay was more like being at home.I would with out any doubt recommended the crescent to family and friends and on behalf of me and Mark like to say a big thank you to host for a wonderful time at his home and we very much look forward to meeting up again next year Dave and mark

Excellent guesthouse

Liked: Friendly welcoming shared kitchen available with seating and free tea and coffee. Very clean and comfortable.Tea and coffee inn the room with biscuits
Disliked: Room could benefit from a fan or air con as it was hot weather.

Convenient stay.

Liked: Good location, walking distance to city.
Disliked: Noisy, ventilation fan doesn’t work.

Wouldn’t stay again.

Liked: Location was good. Room was adequate & fairly clean.
Disliked: Decor was dated. King size bed but with double sized sheet and duvet so nothing fitted properly and the pillows were awful, so lumpy. Our room was not cleaned after the first night despite us leaving the sign out and the door to our room was unlocked after we’d been out all day - we locked it when we left so clearly someone had been in even though the room had not been serviced.
