Liked: Really nothing ! The Cranley Hotel was closing down. Did not know that !!!!!!!!! No restaurant. No food. No bar. Nothing. Was even not enough toilet paper. What was promised at Booking.com was : nice restaurant with a specially delicious pizza. And a full bar with beer etc. Nothing…..!!!!
Disliked: See above !!!!! Toilet smelled strong from Mould. Not healthy !!! Could not even get a beer after a hot day. Just one towel per person for 4 nights. No shower mats in both rooms !!! No beds ever made. No waste baskets emptied !!!

Horrible stay!

Liked: Extremely unprofessional and rude staff. They simply don't care about the guest. Of all tours in Europe, never had a such a rude behaviour from staffs of a hotel. They said 'yes' to each query till I made the payment. After that they said 'I don't care anymore' with a straight face, even with the basic requirement like 'can you please fix the light of the toilet, none of them are working'!
Disliked: Each and every aspect of the hotel. Starting with behaviour, unprofessionalism of staffs to stuffy room with non-functional light.

Disliked: The place was shut and bolted on arrival, when we were let in the manager was clearly smoking in the bar as it stunk of cigarette smoke and his packet of fags and lighter were on the table.. I'm asthmatic and this is against the law whether the bar is open or not.Didn't offer to carry my disabled mothers bags up the steep curving stairs.Were asked to settle up immediately. Pillows need replacing as the stuffing is coming out, plug sockets didn't work.Toilet incredibly noisy.No bottled water despite other reviews, no tea bags either.Breakfast was revolting and we were tutted at for asking for a second coffee which turned to be instant coffee made in a percolator jug!No offer of cereal or alternatives to full English breakfast, no orange juice offered.We had checked in, changed and gone to a wedding for the day, on arrival back it was clear that someone had been in our room whilst we were out as the windows we left open to keep the room cool had been shut.. this is unacceptable.
