Disliked: Prices are getting higher each year breakfast is now no longer included in price Menu selection has changed from classic pub food to restaurant food

Liked: Great hotel in a great location with very helpful staff who made the stay very enjoyable.
Disliked: The dining room / breakfast room and stairs areas are now in desperate need of capital investment. A piece of corniece is still missing from the book shelf, the Roman blinds are badly stained / water damaged and the stairs carpet needs replacing. All these issues undermine an otherwise very pleasant stay.

Great location but ….

Liked: Location, staff and food were all good.
Disliked: As residents, we were disappointed that we were refused bar food on Sunday evening despite the kitchen remaining open and visitors being accommodated long after our request. The floors are very creaky so don’t expect a lie in!
