Located on the edge of Lake Taupo The Cove offers luxury rooms with satellite TV and either fully equipped kitchens or kitchenettes. It features a tour desk that can book local activities including trout fishing skydiving and mountain biking. Free parking is available on site. Renovated in 2014 The Cove Taupo is just 5 minutes' drive from Waikato River and 10 minutes' drive from Taupo Golf Club and Taupo Airport. The famous Huka Falls are a 15-minute drive away. All rooms have free WiFi access an alarm clock and a bathroom with guest toiletries. Some rooms also have a private balcony with a hot tub or lovely lake views. The Cove is also home to The Wholesome Kitchen Cafe which offers breakfast and brunch menu barista made coffee and a selection of sweet and savory options from Tuesday to Sunday. The cafe terrace provides stunning views across Lake Taupo.

Enjoyable.

Liked: Love the view of the lake. Our room was very spacious. Plenty of milk, tea and coffee and complimentary biscuits to enjoy. Really enjoyed the spa. Heat pump got the room toasty in no time. The bed was huge and comfy. There were plenty of towels. Staff were welcoming.
Disliked: The room is looking a bit tired. The were tears in the net curtains and some holes in the wall.

Disliked: Bed was a bit hard but then again all hotel beds are hard theses days, personal preference.

great staff, great position and...

Liked: so much room, good comfy bed and facilities for me to do my admin in the morning before i left
Disliked: shower was horrible! would have been better to go and jump in the lake but other than that the room was amazing!
