Liked: Super clean and comfy.

Exceptional

Liked: Evening meals were excellent with a large choice. A good selection of beers. Bar staff very friendly. Room spotless.
Disliked: Breakfast was a disappointment if like us you don't have a cooked breakfast. On offer was a small selection of single serving boxed cereals but no muesli.. No yoghurt, no fruit etc. You can also have toast. Get this right and we would give you 10 out of ten.All the staff were excellent, very friendly, helpful, and efficient.

Blooming Brilliant!

Liked: Excellent venue, staff treated us like we were family, so welcoming and helpful. Cleanliness of the room was superb (the weekend cleaner was just the best, so friendly and helpful) and the quality of the food was excellent - especially the breakfast, which came with the best service and banter. Will definitely come here agan
Disliked: Nothing they could have done at all - excellent stay.

Liked: The staff were polite and helpful. The breakfast was very good.
Disliked: This was a very standard room being sold as deluxe. The double bed was tiny and the mattress totally worn out. The room is much smaller than the photos would have you believe, and the bathroom is just plain OLD. Exposed pipework, ancient toilet, very poor shower etc. The restaurant area was alao very tired, masquerading as a restaurant when really it is just a pub!

Compared to the 4 star...

Liked: Dinner very good. Lots of vegetables which is unusual nowadays! Room very comfortable. Able to turn radiators on and off. Reading lights perfect. Lots of complimentary teas including Earl Grey.
Disliked: Can’t think of anything

Superb

Liked: The room was just what we wanted and only a very short walk to the pub itself. All the staff were very attentive and the food (inc.breakfast) was excellent.
Disliked: Nothing!
