It was okay but stayed...

Liked: It was a beautiful historical property. The baseboards, mouldings and doors are stunning. The location is great and it was very quiet at night. It is a smaller hotel so there is not a lot of movement in the corridors. Our room was clean.
Disliked: The amenities are poor. There is no convenience shop in the hotel. Soda machine wasn’t working. My biggest complaint was that rooms are not serviced daily or every second day. They clean your room every three days. We stay 3 days in a suite and paid just over $900.00 for our three nights. Our bed was not made once during that stay. We had two towels for three people and had to ask for one more. My daughter was sleeping on the sofa bed which did not have any bedding. We asked for bedding and it was delivered in a package and left for us to make the bed up. I think for $300.00 a night someone could have made up the bed. Since rooms are serviced every three days you need to continually ask for things that are running out e.g., toilet paper, soap, shower gel. Garbage can was full by the time we left on day three.

Liked: Everything was enjoyable. The rooms are very spacious. Breakfast was very good both days we were there, it is nice e and close to the waterfront and casino. If I'm ever back in the area I would definitely stay there again.

Liked: Limited menu but it was tasty and quality.Loved the historic aspect of the hotel. Building restoration was superb!

Disliked: Your evening front desk clerk was the rudest woman I have ever met and was completely unhelpful. Refused to check us in saying our credit card was declined, only to talk to booking.com that the front desk clerk did not process the payment properly. She didn't even apologize and then assigned us the wrong room we paid for. Made the experience a bit sour!

Beautiful building, nice views of...

Liked: We loved the location as we could admire the bay during sunrise and sunset, a perfectly maintained and repurposed building with lots of history, the price was right considering the ratings, all the amenities in the building and the room were a nice a surprise, the included breakfast was a really nice touch, staff was helpful and friendly, it was a short stay but we will definitely book again the next time we visit the city.
Disliked: It was such a short stay that it would be impossible to rate everything included, but for the basic and the plus things we didn't expect, everything was perfect, we'd love to come back for a longer stay,
