Great hotel and location for...

Liked: The breakfast freshly cooked to order and enjoyable.Excellent location for town centre,all amenities within walking distance,5 minutes from the sea front.Bed was comfortable and nice interiors,house keeping excellent.Staff were friendly and helpful.
Disliked: Filter coffee at breakfast was luke warm. Could be improved with self serve coffee machine.Pillows were uncomfortable.Second room floor was hot, would struggle in summer with no air con.No signs upstairs requesting guests to be quiet..

Great sleep but poor breakfast

Liked: The bed was, as with all hypnos beds, exceptional and contrary to other reports we had a great nights sleep even though we weiner rooms at the front.
Disliked: Unfortunately, the breakfast was not acceptable. One of the fried eggs was fully cooked, i.e. hard. We had to send the beans back as they were tepid. A clue to a good breakfast is when the waiter/waitress brings the food out holding the plate with gloves. Hot food should always be served on HOT plates!
