Horrible night sleep, dirty

Liked: The mattress was comfortable.
Disliked: The bed was dirty, with disgusting bits of whatever I don't know on the inside bed frame. I thought it might be bed bug remains. The noise from the rraffic kept us up all night. There were people next door to us fighting and slamming the doors. The man was screaming and swearing at his girlfriend or whoever and we were nervous because of this and we also could not sleep. The people upstairs seemed to be up all night walking back and forth across the floor. We did not feel that the room or accommodation was worth the $400 we paid. We will not be coming back. I really would like to know what the $400 was for. There wasn't even a bathtub. The lights in the hallway were bright and they were on all night long. The soundproofing is very bad.

Disliked: The ceiling in the bedroom was low; easy to bump head when getting out of bed.

Liked: Beautiful B&B in a historic building, updated with modern fixtures. Very convenient to walk to town and close free parking. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and the breakfast was good with vegetarian options.
Disliked: The room temperature was a bit difficult to control and the window coverings didn't keep out much light.
