Ok in winter but too...

Disliked: TOO HOTtoo many light bulbs that couldn’t be dimmedWindows that couldn’t be fully opened to let the heat out, shame no ACtv not getting all terrestrial channels

Exceptional

Liked: Great hotelLovely bedroom, clean and spacious. Quiet.Lovely pub
Disliked: Food in pub stops serving at 8pm

Sadly the hotel didn't come...

Liked: Well located for purpose of visit. One double room was spacious albeit the furnishing was a little tired. Dog friedly
Disliked: problem with rooms on arrival. two double' superior' rooms booked , Only one available only a single room was the alternative. Having said this a refund in price was given but the room was so small and the bathroom really was not adequate.used hotel restaurant on both nights sadly the service was not what would be expected as standard. Had to ask for menu, kept waiting to give order and for food to be served . first night not given the option for a dessert after waiting 3/4 of an hour for coffee we gave up. Staff were pleasant but not fully attentive.Refurbishment to the hotel was in progress however the general decor throughout was in need of attention, very tired hopefully this will be resolved on completion. The hotel had a smell of damp/dirty water. Apology was given to us on arrival

Lovely little place to stay...

Liked: This was the perfect stop on my way to the euro tunnel with my little dogs. A lovely pub with nice menu, clean and cosy accommodation and very welcoming to my fur babies. The breakfast was lovely! Will definitely stay again when I make this journey.
Disliked: Nothing

Liked: Room (48) was spaciousBed was comfortable & bedding good quality Food in the hotel was very good quality
Disliked: The plug sockets/tv on wall did not work. The was no power at all on that side of the room.Cobwebs in corners of room and above curtain railOverall the room did look a bit tiredBreakfast was good quality, however was barely luke warm

Great stay, great staff, great...

Liked: Staff very friendly and welcoming. Food very good.Not over priced.
Disliked: Could possibly need more staff at very busy times.

Probably wouldn’t stay again

Disliked: Room smelt damp, very tired tatty room and small. Food was of very poor quality.

Breakfast was lovely

Liked: The location of the hotel was perfect for the wedding we were attending nearby
Disliked: Didn’t like the shower over the corner bath as couldn’t really stand underneath it so had to lean over to get the water and it wasn’t very powerful
