Terrible night

Liked: There was no heating in the room I was freezing spoke to staff on duty I was told they can’t do anything about it and they will tell the manager .
Disliked: Nothing

Liked: We didn’t have breakfast but it was ideal for us as we was going out in Wolverhampton

The weirdest hotel policies and...

Disliked: On arrival I was asked for ID. I didn’t have any ID but did have my booking registration and the card I used to book the reservation. I was told they only except passport or driving license. I was eventually granted access and was then asked for the security deposit - which is fine, but they only accept cash. No cards. There is no mention of this on the booking form. The front of house were incredibly aggressive, I had to ask them to calm down. II felt so uneasy, it was an intimidating experience, not what you’d expect when checking into a hotel. I requested a late check out for 12 noon and was charged £25. At the time of the normal check out I was woken up by the staff and asked to leave. I explained that I paid for a late check out. Following this the cleaner hoovered the hallway outside the room for 2 hours banging into my door. I left early as there was no way of sleeping through the noise! I have written to the hotel, but haven’t received a response.

Disliked: The hotel is undergoing renovations which reduces services but there was no noise impact.The rooms need a little more TLC but improve the cleanliness - little bit of mould in the shower

Disappointing in an over priced...

Disliked: Hotel looks a bit tired and run down, needs redecorating. Carpets need replacing, dirty and worn. Could not shut window in room. Paintwork dirty and some splashed substance on bathroom door and wall. Shower cubicle had mould on grout and sealant'

A lot of things broken...

Liked: Bed was comfy, good tea/ coffee selection, okay location (close to centre)
Disliked: Broken toilet seat, broken hairdryer, shower didn’t fully turn off (dripped all night), bathroom door didn’t shut, window handle was broken and struggled to lock it. TV didn’t work
