The Connally Hotel Downtown Atlanta Ascend Hotel Collection

The food was very nasty; the bed mattress needs to be replaced - the springs were bad in the back. There was a 3 inch streak of bug guts on the ceiling. The room smelled.

Liked: The convenience to the venue.
Disliked: The bed; the morning breakfast and the dirty room.

Rooms were clean and employees were nice and helpful.

This was my second stay...

Liked: The Valet guys were really respectful and helpful.
Disliked: The elevator was not working properly. Witnessed 3 altercations directly out front, could not leave at one point because of it. Some of the staff/housekeeping were kind of rude.

Liked: The proximity to public transportation definitely made the stay convenient and getting around easier.
Disliked: Our room was half cleaned. It was a used, dirty cup under the bed from a previous guest. The bathtub floor was either dirty or the stains were permanent. We always wipe down and febreeze our hotel rooms when we travel but prior to us doing that, the room had that old, wet type smell. A pillowcase was dirty and a mattress had stains that clearly been there awhile. Other than that, the size of the room was great, the beds were comfortable and the bathroom was a good size.
