Disliked: Menu in the Restaurant is outdated and does not reflect the quality of the food which is excellent, there’s a lot of old people favourites on there !

Decent but not very good

Liked: The location was beautiful, the entrance and car park were nice. When I entered the receptionist was very nice and helpful. Even though there was a wedding so lots of people at the reception area she still helped us quickly and nicely. The positives end there.
Disliked: When I entered the room the carpet and furniture was very dated. I travelled from Scotland and wanted to just relax and jump in the shower, I stepped in the shower and there were hairs everywhere, it hadn’t been cleaned. I didn’t even feel like putting my suitcase up on the rack. I avoided touching anything, luckily I had brought my own blanket and had a pillowcase I always bring to hotels so I used them and tried sleeping. I felt really suffocated in the room. First we were going to have dinner at the hotel but after seeing the state of the room I asked my husband to just go out and eat. It was late so I couldn’t book another place. The place itself is lovely and the receptionist was great but those are the only good things here.

Amazing treat, loved it!

Liked: Our stay was amazing! Beautiful, spacious and modern room and bathroom with view. The Spa was wonderful, more time would have been better. The evening meal was excellent, as was breakfast. I can't fault it, I looked around for the best rate which made it more affordable but it is a top class hotel so can't expect it to be cheap. My partner had a full body massage and he was very happy with it, the staff were very supportive providing a pleasant relaxing space for me to relax while he was having his treatment.
Disliked: More time in the Spa would have been nice.

Good

Liked: The location is fantastic and the view around the hotel is absolutely incredible! One of the highlights was the beautiful woodland walk, which added a scenic touch to the stay.
Disliked: Unfortunately, the dining experience did not live up to expectations. The prices were quite steep, and the quality of the food fell short, making it hard to justify the cost.
