Perfect for an airport stop...

Liked: The staff were lovely. As it's summertime, there is a big beer garden at the back which also had a bar in it. There was also light summer food on offer in the garden where they cooked Spanish Tapas and pizza. We had dinner in the formal dining room, which was delicious. We used it as a stop over for Bristol airport and it was only 15 minutes drive away. Very pretty pub. The room was clean and felt very homely. It was also quiet and the bed was comfortable. Thank you to the staff x

A very welcoming stay however...

Liked: I stayed here for 2 nights and it was in an ideal location for my visit to the area. The staff in the restaurant were very friendly and the food was pleasantly nice especially the breakfast and chocolate brownie. General housekeeping was okay and everything smelt fresh.
Disliked: The first thing I noticed on the walls when I walked in was some mould on the wall underneath the windows. The bed was not the most comfiest and it did give me quite a sore back after. If you are in one of the front rooms then the hotel is on quite a busy road so it can be quite loud. I had to have the windows open as I felt like I was in an oven otherwise. The hotel did provide a fan for each room but unfortunately mine did not have much power nor let out any cool air however my colleagues reported theirs worked a lot better.
