Liked: It’s great location between Bristol and Bath, wonderful staff, great food and the beautifully renovated areas.
Disliked: Nothing

A really comfortable pub stay:...

Liked: Large comfortable room and bathroom. Great service from friendly staff. Food of a very high standard and reasonable value. Pub bar and dining areas lovely with good atmosphere. Car park spaces reserved for residents.
Disliked: It’s right on the road and we thought traffic may keep us awake, but after supper we had no trouble with traffic or other noise. We didn’t need ear plugs. It was peaceful.

Liked: Very friendly and efficient staff. Lovely bar and restaurant area, good wine selection & a decent burger.
Disliked: Staircase up to the rooms really needs cleaning or recarpeting, not a great first impression. The food wasn't bad but not as good as expected for a 'restaurant with rooms'. We were in the back bedroom (I think it was called the Wedmore overlooking the beer garden). Throughout the night there was a loud ticking/ humming noise that would come and go which kept us awake.

Liked: Absolutely adequate for our needs, very handy for interesting places to visit in North Somerset.Breakfast perfect.
Disliked: A small negative with our visit being very early March, the heating/radiator required attention bleeding most likely as the room was below temperature for time of year.
