We loved the suite. The rooms are spacious. The bed was extremely comfortable. The staff was polite. But the restaurant was sad. We were the only customers. The food was mediocre (I had pork chops that were dry and overcooked; my wife had a bland chicken pot pie). The house specialty drink was disappointing. It tasted like a soft drink with a splash of alcohol. All said, we’d definitely stay here again, but would avoid the restaurant.

Liked: Very spacious rooms and comfortable bed.
Disliked: The restaurant.

My daughter and I recently stayed at the Commonwealth Park Suites Hotel. We had a great time. The staff was wonderful and the room was very clean. We attended a concert at The National and liked that we were in walking distance to the venue. We also liked the historic nature of the hotel and the surrounding area. We will definitely stay there again!

Great experience with this hotel. Super nice and friendly staff. Bed was large and comfortable. Heat was great, especially after walking in the cold streets of Downtown Richmond. The shower had plenty of hot water, in a nice, large bathroom!

Our suite was large and well appointed. Unfortunately, there were several negatives : Air conditioning was inadequate for our unusually hot early June stay. Shower temperature could not be adjusted below medium hot. As I said it was an unusually hot June day and a cooler shower after being outdoors would have been appreciated. I felt the outside noise level was quite a bit higher than I've experienced in other city hotels. They need to invest in better soundproofing.

Liked: Location was good for our purposes.
Disliked: Poor HVAC and outside noise.
