The Common Man deserves their...

Liked: Very cool repurposed textiles mill building; great character to the building overall. Place was very clean, quiet aside form occasional guests being noisy in the hall (happens everywhere) and the inn's cat, Claire, is a nice bonus.
Disliked: Distance to parking could be an issue if you've got less than ideal mobility. It's a downtown spot, they did what they could.

Cozy New England getaway

Liked: Cozy, beautiful brick building, creatively decorated. The handcrafted items in the lobby, and connected Brewery/ restaurant make it the perfect place for a relaxing stay!

All in all it is...

Liked: I did not try the breakfast on this stay but have had the breakfast on previous stays and thought it was fine. The room was very nice and clean. The bed was very comfortable. The inn is in a great location on the river.
Disliked: Not knowing until we got there that our room was beside the function hall where they were having a prom party that evening. Usually I stay at the Common Man because it is relaxing, quiet and peaceful. The night I stayed there was anything but that. We had music coming up through the floor from the restaurant and music coming through the wall from the function room. Not only that but people were loud right outside our door in the hallway. We heard a couple arguing right outside our door and a couple of people tried to open our door thinking it was the bathroom. I usually don't mind the price of the rooms but to put up with that for just under three hundred dollars a night I think I would pass on the next stay. In all the times I have stayed at the Common Man I didn't realize you even had rooms over the restaurant. I have previously had my wedding reception held there and rented rooms on a number of occasions.
