Disliked: velux window in room 11 could do with a blind

Awful

Liked: Music blaring downstairs till 3am. Don’t know how it’s allowed as in residential area.
Disliked: Breakfast area was being mopped and toilets in front of us. Cooked breakfast was not available till 11am which was useless for us as we had to be at venue for 9am. I booked this hotel as cooked breakfast should have been available. Have never heard of this especially as usually you need to vacate hotel before 11am. I could go on as there were ms y things wrong with the hotel and or stay. Will certainly not recommend this hotel or revisit

Liked: Food was good. Room was pretty good, good location and parking
Disliked: Room was next to a nightclub. Very noisy until 3 am. If it hadn't been so hot we wouldn't have had the window open so wouldn't have been too bad. Not the end of the world, good to see and hear young people enjoying themselves!

Highly recommended. Great value

Liked: A welll maintained and attractive property in the centre of town, a short walk from the railway station. The rooms and areas for residents' use have a very pleasing ambience and are comfortable. The bar/restaurant offers a good range of choice for drinks and meals - the latter well presented, tasty and great value. Early breakfasts from 6 a.m. is a plus for travellers needing an early start. All of the staff were friendly, helpful and in the restaurant particularly gave exceptional service.

Quiet hotel in close reach...

Liked: Very nice staff. Nice traditional pub like style. The room was cozy and had nice looks with the stone walls. The size of the room was good for a family of four.
Disliked: The bed was horrible. The mattress was so worn out that I felt the metal springs in my back all night.There was no proper breakfast available before 10 AM, only a very basic continental buffet with a tiny selection to choose from. When we arrived in the evening at 7:30 PM, the kitchen was already closed so we couldn’t have dinner.
