Every aspect of my stay...

Liked: The hotel was beautiful, with clean and comfortable rooms.

Good but I wasn't keen...

Liked: Clean, modern, good quality breakfast. Friendly staff. Great shower. Reasonable price when booked a few weeks in advance. The older part of the hotel is an attractive art deco building. Close to the Alban Way for walking into St Albans, and only a few minutes drive into St Albans. You couldn't hear people in other rooms/in the corridor.
Disliked: The location, surrounded by busy roads and very near the motorway, made it too noisy for me. I had to use ear plugs at night. Not a very attractive part of Hatfield. Too warm, so had to keep the windows open 24/7. Students are right outside your window if you are in the modern part of the hotel and at the back, and particularly if on the ground floor as we were. Because it was July, there weren't many students around, but I imagine it could be busier/noisier during term time.

Liked: Fascinating - always wanted to visit since seeing it years ago. Revamp has been very sympathetic

Superb

Liked: Lots to love!!! Immaculately Clean. Condition of the property is like new. Sheet are crisp and fresh ideal location. Easy to find. Ample parking, really lovely helpful friendly kind proactive staff. Good value for money.
