Liked: This was a well appointed, clean, comfortable room. The ensuite weas great, the desk was great for working and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was really nice, with plenty, and a good friendly service

A basic hotel which just...

Liked: The Columbia has been open for several decades and is somewhat run-down. It has a generous car-park to the rear of the building, and is easily accessible from Wellingborough town centre. Despite being on a main road, I fond it generally quiet.When I had problems operating the TV in the bedroom, the manager was very generous with his time helping to bring it to life.
Disliked: The hotel breakfast seemed very expensive and I would not want a full cooked English breakfast. I did not get clear answers to the nature of the continental breakfast, nor its cost, so I did not eat at the hotel.
