Was perfect for the reason...

Liked: Close to location we were going to. Meal on Friday evening was home cooked and delicious.
Disliked: Rooms could have been updated.

No sleep due to bed...

Liked: Location and bathroom.
Disliked: We have stayed at this hotel twice before while visiting family but unfortunately this stay wasn’t good. We stayed two nights this visit. The good points as I’m disabled is the bathroom had a high toilet and walk in shower and plenty of handrails. The sink however was very small. There was a kettle and coffee and tea. There wasn’t a hair dryer. We only had contact with one staff member upon check in he was friendly. The room was a good size and easy to use my walker. The disappointing bits were the bed was so uncomfortable it felt like sleeping on the floor. Needless to say sleep was virtually nonexistent. The green light on the ceiling was very bright after lights were turned off and you didn’t need a light in the bathroom for the same reason. So another reason for not sleeping well. The room and bathroom were very cold. We heard everything from the room above us. The rooms furniture is scratched and veneer is off on pieces. The room needs decorating as it’s outdated and had a slight odour unfortunately. We won’t stay here again.
