Sadly Disappointed
Liked: good breakfast
Disliked: Computer crash lost reservation, so called lodge directly. This was an anniversary getaway and wanted it to be special, so purchased the "Romance Package". Requested top floor... denied. Requested balcony.... denied. Requested early check in...denied. Said room would be ready at 4 pm which is normal check in time. Arrived at 4:05 pm and room was not ready. Said it would be about 10 minutes.. Finally ready at 4:29 pm... So far pretty disappointed.... No real directions to room and since spouse is unable to do stairs, guess where we were sent.... Yup.... stairs, short, but stairs none the less... Pretty much a jungle of sorts finding room.... stairs going every which way. Finally asked an attendant where our unit was and she directed us.... Room was found to be satisfactory at first glance, but.... No balcony... No emergency directions.... Low toilet so spouse had difficulty getting up... Sofa must have been designed for 8 foot tall person. In order for back support, a pillow had to be placed behind you.... Only one grab bar in shower/tub and wife did not feel secure using shower... No TV instructions or channel guide.... Lower fire pit area was a nice touch but, no handicapped access.... Upper fire pit not protected from the wind.... As far as the "Romance Package" was concerned, it was apparently setup while we awaited our room's readiness because the "Brut" was warm making it undrinkable at the time.... So much for celebration!!!! Breakfast was very good and outshined the rest of the place... We felt like we had received the bargain basement of lodging, which was not the case... Over $400 for 2 nights and the "Romance Package", a $99 extra was a joke!!! We were very disappointed overall and this was to be a very special occasion... The COHO did not deliver and we will not be returning..

Liked: Friendly staff, breakfast was exceptional, and view was spectacular, just what we needed!
Disliked: Some items were not stocked when we arrived, very small bathroom and bath tub. Also, wished the balcony would have glass for viewing instead of wood slats.

I saw a beautfiul sunset...
Liked: Well, I would have preferred to have a balcony, but given the cooler weather and that I could open my windows and hear the ocean, it was fine. I liked your lobby, the games available, goodies to buy. Your breakfast area was very nice, above the average buffet breakfast. And though I didn't use your spa/pool facilities, it's a great offering, especially in cold weather. Oh, and the french press coffee was a treat. Nice quality shampoo, et cetera.
Disliked: Can't think of it.
