Liked: Location was great - room clean and pleasant
Disliked: I found the numbers on the lock boxes hard to read. No hot water available for showers which was inconvenient but I was contacted and the manager offered a partial refund on the room rate as compensation.

Comfortable room in good location

Liked: Good location in city centre but quiet no passing traffic or noise from outside or other guests. Clean comfortable room.
Disliked: Cannot see on details anywhere that rooms are up 2 flights of stairs. This could present a problem for some guests. Our shower was cold in the morning. Reported this by ringing contact number given then went next door for breakfast. Text received to say fixed but we did not see anyone and the water was still not hot. By then was nearing our check out time so we had to leave without a shower. Disappointing as everything else was good.

Liked: Ease of use in city centre, good value for money.
Disliked: Noise, thin walls able to hear other rooms. Pillows lumpy.

I really enjoyed my stay...

Liked: The Coffee House right in the centre of Aberdeen, within walking distance His Majestys Theatre, and about 200 yds from Union Street. The room had a kingsize bed with flatscreen TV.It also had Tea/Coffee making facilities.
Disliked: The hotel is close to lots of pubs which can be a plus for some. The downside being the noise level after they have closed, even with double glazed windows. But the hotelis located in the city centre so noise has to be expected.

Decent stay for value!

Liked: Nice location. Good for value
Disliked: - appears there was a used towel hanging on the back of the bathroom door. Unless that’s how they leave it to dry hands? If so, maybe have it folded so people know it’s not used. - maybe to the welcome message write spots where people can park so no parking fees, and easy to access. - wifi didn’t work for me. They didn’t know the staff password to try and help - although not sure if it was something wrong in the area or just the hotel.

Good value for money.

Liked: The room was clean, the bed comfortable and the shower was good.
Disliked: The rooms were up two flights of stairs. It was difficult to make out the numbers on the key safe boxes. No staff. It didn’t feel like a hotel.
