Superb

Liked: The room layout was lovely, the food in the restaurant was excellent
Disliked: The room was slightly untidy, with false eyelashes in the bed and cue tips under the wardrobe. It's not a major issue for me, but others might have a different view

Disliked: Some elements of the hotel were tired, but it didn't affect our stay and would definitely return

Excellent dog friendly hotel

Liked: A lovely country house hotel. We were staying with 2 dogs and we couldn’t have been made more welcome. There is a separate coach house with rooms for those with dogs and this worked really well. The room was lovely, very comfortable and there was a doggy welcome pack! Dinner and breakfast were good. We had a table set up in the lounge bar so we could have the dogs with us which worked well. We would definitely stay again.

Overnight accommodation

Liked: Although only st the hotel from 7pm until 11am I found it to be of excellent quality . Well decorated and clean, helpful and friendly staff and extremely comfortable beds and a large room.

I real gem. Very happy...

Liked: The location, the interior and how calming the atmosphere was. The staff who were lovely and so helpful. The views from the hotel and grounds. The courtyard. Loved the choices on the menu and very reasonable for the quality of food and drink.
Disliked: Tea and Coffee facilities in the room But that is a minor thing, there was water in the room and lovely toiletries
