Ridiculous to pay 270 usd...
Liked: Hot tub
Disliked: We froze because the room didn’t have working heating. Slept the whole night below 55F. Nothing we could do because the front desk closes at 10pm. When we brought this up during checkout they said that normally they would give a partial refund but they couldn’t because the booking was through Booking.com. Booking.com also refused to help, so just in case better reserve directly through the hotel. The room was just ok, grossly overpriced at 270 per night. Cleanliness wasn’t great, see the image attached. Overall, a nightmare!!

Great motel
Liked: It's a great motel in a good spot. The pool is wonderful and warm. The staff are wonderful and friendly. We had a great time there. The beds are really comfortable. We had a great stay.
Disliked: As it is a motel you can hear outside though easy to solve with earplugs and same in all.motels. The lighting is low so if you plan to work this could be an issue.

Cozy and great hot tub
Liked: The hotel had activities for the guests which made it easier to talk to people who were also staying in the same hotel. The hot tub and heated pool were my favorite amenities.
Disliked: I was hoping breakfast would've been included but the fact that they had breakfast as an option for purchase was helpful.

It was disappointing but could...
Liked: The common areas are very nice including the coffee area (good morning coffee, tea and hot chocolate) where you can also heat up your own food, the various tables where you can eat and play games, and the outdoor fire pit. The small bar inside was a pretty cool place to grab a beer and hang out by the fire. The hot tub was nice and hot but a little yellow and had some trash from beverage containers in it. Thats more a result of other guests though. My son also enjoyed the pool.
Disliked: We were given a room right next to construction. The first morning (Sunday) there was banging and cutting on the outside of one of our walls. I tried to ask the construction workers how long they were going to be working but they didn’t speak English. The front desk moved us to a different room when I complained but it was inconvenient to move my family’s stuff to a different room in a different building on icy ground. There wasn’t an attempt at an explanation or apology. I found some signage that they are building meeting rooms which is a long term project but they still put us in that location. The new room had issues too. The bathroom door would not close because the frame was made from plywood and was swollen so we would have to wedge a towel behind it to keep it mostly closed for privacy. The TV had an Apple TV but not signed in so unless you’re bringing your own accounts, it’s useless. I never got the Netflix or other services to work in the second room whereas they did soon the first. They have complementary s’mores from 7-9pm and on the first night my kids were really excited after dinner to try it but they had run out by 8:30pm. The following nights were not an issue. The exercise room was also closed due to construction. They charge a resort fee for a long list of items but many were not available or not working.
