A very British experience

Liked: Nice room with a shower inside the room and a decorative fireplace. Lots of space.
Disliked: Very narrow bed for two adults. Having the shower in the room is kind of strange, maybe it is a British thing. Water did not flow to the sewer as fast as it flowed from the shower. No way to wash long hair.

Very disappointing

Liked: The bed was comfortable, and the linen was clean. No breakfast was served. Considering I paid the same for my stays both in Colwyn Bay and in Chester which included breakfast in lovely rooms too I did not feel I received value for money. It was close to everything within a short walk which was the only bonus.
Disliked: The room was tiny and cramped. The toilet was black inside the bottom of the toilet bowl. The basin had black around the drain area. The carpet in the bedroom was shabby. I was given one towel that was extremely old there was no hand towel or bathmat, so I climbed out of the shower onto the wet floor for 2 of the 3 days I was there. Outside the window was filthy and even on the windowsill. Considering this was supposed to be a 4-star accommodation I feel it should be lowered to one star!!!!!

I would stay there again

Liked: There was no breakast
Disliked: I had some issue checking that were not the fault of the property. I would have liked the host to reply sooner to my messages and phone call. However the owner was very helpful and patient when he did respond.

Great location, helpful owner.

Liked: Bang in the centre of town. Everything you need within easy walking distance.
Disliked: Check if breakfast is available. However there are plenty of reasonable places to eat within a short distance.

Lovely, relaxed and enjoyable.

Liked: We had a lovely room, plenty of space and a very comfortable bed, and the bathroom was spacious too.
Disliked: Whilst answering yes to a quiet room, it was in the building, however, unfortunately the noise of people after hours outside disturbed us at night. This wasn't The Coach House fault, as the noise was from young people having too much to drink making their way home from the city centre.

Comfortable stay, good location and...

Liked: Very comfy beds and pillows which made for a good nights sleepBrilliant location, very close to the town and shops but this did cause it to be a bit noisy at night as our room was at the front
Disliked: The stairs to our room would be difficult to navigate if you were elderly or had mobility issues
