Warm welcome, excellent service and...
Liked: Our stay started with a really warm welcome (from Ben) and our rooms were ideal - ground level (one member of the party has mobility issues) easy access, parking right outside the door. Room spacious enough to move around easily. Good, accessible shower, very pleasant decor, lots of sockets, and plenty of storage. Every member of staff that we met was bright, friendly and very efficient.We had to ask to store some medication in hotel fridge, and staff handled this well - even reminding me to take it each evening!Good choice of evening meals, and at the (included) breakfast, very good food, very good service.
Disliked: Really an ideal stay, and our only suggestion would be to develop the garden areas a bit more - more flowers/ shrubs at entrance, and more small seating areas in the large back garden?

Liked: Room 20 was spacious. The bed was very comfortable, and it was nice to have a small area with a sofa. The staff were very friendly, and we enjoyed the flexibility when ordering a cooked breakfast.

Very good hotel that deserves...
Liked: The location on outskirts of Lowerstoft was very convenient. Quiet suburb, within a mile or so of Oulten Broad and Carlton Marshes. I liked the layout, cleanliness and quality of the room. Staff were very good.
Disliked: I did expect a room fridge so not the full 10/10 recommendation and on a warm summers evening with live music on the terrace ...No Aperol Spritz or Pimms as options from bar !! :-)

Liked: Beautiful building on the approach and inside was just as lovely. Very peaceful and my bedroom was amazing. Love the colours they have used throughout. Outside at the front was a beautiful seated garden. All perfect.
Disliked: Nothing it was perfect.

Liked: Centrally located for all the places we wanted to visit
Disliked: We would have liked a wider evening meal menu, using fresh veg and not so many chips.The food was ok, just not as healthy as we'd normally eat.
