Disliked: Manager was drunk. When. Iasked about why the shower & handfasting liquid shampoos & hand wash were empty. Took 2 hours to come and refill them . Room was dirty with dozens of fag ends thrown out of bedroom window onto a lead valley directly outside window. Window will had huge hole in it.Disgusting place

Liked: Staff were friendly.
Disliked: Booked to stay here because I was seeing family. Hotel says it shuts at 11pm which isn’t true, the partying was well underway. It wasn’t just that it was the state of the rooms, I have pictures to prove how disgusting it was. I ended up leaving at 11pm drove to my mums and slept on her sofa.As a lone female I felt a bit intimidated during my stay. The card reader for my room didn’t work (eventually after the 4th key it did) mattress - well you might aswell sleep on the floor. Tiles were all cracked in the bathroom, stains up the bedside cabinet. I won’t be coming here again and I’m requesting a full refund please.

Disappointing

Liked: Nice old building.
Disliked: There was an extremely loud live music act on. I had no idea and it was very difficult to sleep with the noise. I suppose it would be ok if a bit quieter but overall just a bit below average.

Liked: Modern room and bathroom.
Disliked: Overall was clean, just needs more attention under bed and on the bathroom floor. Lots of Scruffs on the walls that could easily be removed.
