NEC Stay Over

Liked: The location is close NEC
Disliked: The loud disco that vibrated the room till 12am. We weren't notified that this was taking place until we arrived. It was 1am by the time everyone had left and we could get to sleep. Floors were dirty and bits left on the carpet. Looked like they hadn't been vaccummed

Lovely place made even better...

Liked: Used this as a place to stay after a wedding we travelled to. Room was extremely spacious and clean. Bed was reasonably comfy enough even for the fussiest of sleepers like myself

Pleasant

Liked: The deluxe room was good and the location of the hotel was good.We had problems with the door keys but the staff on site helped us out so we got in the room fairly quickly.Car parking on site was good and we were able to get a space.
Disliked: As it's a pub as well as a hotel, if you're in one of the rooms above the pub itself, it's going to be noisy on a weekend whilst the pub plays it's music and people are outside drinking. This went on past midnight for us.These rooms are also a bit dated as it's an older pub so you'll have a shower but bits of it might fall off.y friends who stayed there didn't get much sleep. The deluxe rooms have a sky light in them that has no blind, or at least mine did so we recommend bringing and eye mask as it woken me up at 6am.

Liked: How friendly the staff were.
Disliked: They didn't refill the shampoo and body wash in the shower plus was covered in old shampoo gunk, shower is infested in black mould which isn't ideal for someone with bad lungs. The sink drainage was filthy was overfilling and Brought up a foul sewage smell.Fire alarm was barely on the ceiling it was hanging off the wall and didn't seem like it was even in a working condition no light to indicate it was working.

Won’t be going back.

Liked: Friendly staff well located, and inexpensive.
Disliked: Very tired interior, the place has a damp smell and although the bed was comfy and clean everything else needed cleaning. Loud music playing until midnight and then loud chatter and voices until 01.30.
