It served a purpose, wouldn’t...

Liked: Initially the price was quite attractive and the location seemed ok for what we wanted to do
Disliked: The shower drain was blocked so it flooded when you showered. When I looked at the drain it was clogged with hair and mould, the shower walls had black mould in clumps stuck all over it. The TV worked for streaming services for 1 night, when we asked about it the owner came in for a look, said it wasn’t his area of expertise and that he’d left his phone in his car. He said he was going to get I and never came back. Not great at all

Good, Affordable and Welcoming.

Liked: I personally liked the fact that there was a bustling pub environment. It felt authentic and quintessentially British. I can't speak for all reviewers but I feel like the room offered to me was relatively clean - and I found the bed and bathroom comfortable. For the price it was unbeatable. The patrons of the pub were very nice and welcoming, proud of their local area and happy to chat even though I was a tourist. Recommended I see the church with the 13th century spire.
Disliked: No big complaints, except I could access the hotel through the courtyard on the morning of Saturday at 4 AM, but for some reason needed to knock and go in via the then-locked pub on Sunday morning as the courtyard. It'd be ideal to have access to the dwellings 24 hours. Not a big issue however as they have a number

Cheap and cheerful but with...

Liked: Room was basic and pleasant enough with expectations being met. Comfortable room with essentials and fair on price for a single occupancy that had a sole purpose of being a place to sleep
Disliked: Bathroom was disgusting in places. Mould growing that could easily have cleaned from the poorly installed silicon throughout the bathroom and the shower tray had a lot of filth accumulated on one side. A simple fix to smarten and more importantly clean this up, which would have avoided this comment.

Whilst the pub was lively...

Liked: Bed was super comfy, staff were amazing and so helpful, can’t fault them in anyway, the pub, could not hear any noise from the music downstairs, and thought the vibe in the pub was nice and friendly, great location with a couple of shops, and a harvester up the road,
Disliked: Found the cards for the door a bit hard, you need a knack to get them working, but staff were always happy to come up and show us, cleanliness of the room wasn’t the best, but the bed itself was very clean, the bathroom toilet made a noise when flushing, the main shower head, only 10 of the holes sprayed, but you had the other shower head that worked fine, no shampoo or shower gel, but we also didn’t go down to ask about having them refilled so just picked up some from the corner shop,
