Lovely traditional pub, with really...

Liked: Lovely traditional pub, obviously very popular for food. comfortable if slightly snug room. Very friendly staff.The breakfast was really good
Disliked: The rooms are not brilliantly soundproofed so the birds tweeting at 4am although lovely, was also unwanted.You can hear noisy neighbors coming and going as well. As we stayed in march i do not know how much noise from the outdoor pub seating would also filter into the rooms

Pleasant area, could have been...

Liked: Room was comfortable but quilt too hot. No glass provided to have water with.
Disliked: There was a couple arguing outside the room at 10.30 pm as we were trying to sleep. Person staying in next door room (off duty policeman) got involved and eventually they left when threat of calling the police sunk in.

Comfortable place to stay with...

Liked: The rooms are very comfortable and warm. The breakfast is well cooked and there is a welcoming atmosphere in the bar.
Disliked: Nothing

A lovely room in courtyard...

Liked: Lovely room, clean with everything you needed, tea and coffee making facilities, TV, towels and toiletries, nice decor, warm, bright and spotlessly clean. Will definitely stay here again when visiting family. Excellent breakfast in the morning.

Lovely pub in a quiet...

Liked: This is my second stay at the Coach & Horses. They have a small number of rooms in a block behind the pub. The rooms are clean, comfortable and perfect for an overnight stay for work or pleasure. The pub & staff are friendly and welcoming and the food is very good.Breakfast is in the pub from 8 am and I need to be in work early, so I missed it first time round. This time I spoke to the staff when I checked in and they prepared me a breakfast tray to take to my room which was perfect.
Disliked: Everything

A very pleasant break.

Liked: The food was really excellent with a gluten free option which was a bonus. Friendly reception, lovely clean comfortable room. Jolly atmosphere in the pub.
Disliked: Really, the stay was perfect. No niggles.
