The Spotlight on The Clyde Hotel

Stylish High-Rise Comfort in the Heart of Albuquerque

Modern luxury meets Southwestern flair at The Clyde Hotel, the tallest hotel in Albuquerque located right downtown. Just a short walk from the Albuquerque Convention Center and close to top concert venues, this hotel blends Pueblo Deco decor with upscale amenities like a rooftop pool, sauna, and on-site dining. With free WiFi, flat-screen TVs, and work desks in every room, it’s a great base for music fans exploring the city.

Why Concert-goers love it

The Clyde Hotel is just a 5-minute walk from the Albuquerque Convention Center and a short ride from other popular music venues. Guests appreciate the peaceful rooms for post-show recovery, and the 24-hour front desk makes late-night check-ins a breeze. On-site parking and proximity to public transit make getting to and from shows easy, and the rooftop hot tub is a welcome treat after standing through an encore.

Who this Hotel is great for

  • Groups of friends looking for shared experiences and on-site amenities
  • Solo travelers catching that once-in-a-lifetime gig
  • Couples turning a concert into a weekend getaway
  • Fans who want quiet comfort to recharge post-show
  • Budget-conscious music fans who still want a little luxury

Food and Drink Options

Carrie’s Restaurant serves classic American dishes and drinks, with a Starbucks on-site for that late-night coffee fix or morning-after pick-me-up. The hotel doesn’t offer 24/7 room service, but the on-site dining and walkable downtown location mean you’re never far from a bite. While breakfast isn’t included, it’s available on-site when you need a slow start after a big night.

Nightlife Options

Enjoy a relaxed pre- or post-show drink at the 1922 Lounge — a stylish on-site bar with a classy vibe and solid cocktail list. Plus, you’re just blocks from downtown Albuquerque’s growing bar scene, with live music lounges and casual pubs all within walking distance.

What People Say

Guests love the hotel’s central location, friendly staff, and clean, comfortable rooms. The rooftop pool and hot tub often get rave reviews, especially after a long day on your feet. Many mention the easy access to venues and walkability as major perks.

Areas for Improvement

Some reviews mention that the hotel’s age shows in minor ways, like dated bathroom fixtures or slower elevators. The on-site food is solid but not spectacular, so you may want to explore nearby eateries for more variety.

The Bottom Line

With its unbeatable downtown location, rooftop amenities, and stylish comfort, The Clyde Hotel is a top pick for concert-goers looking to be close to the action without sacrificing relaxation.

Worse decision ever!!

Liked: This was worse stay I've ever experienced in a hotel. The lack of consideration was unacceptable. I stayed on the 10th floor the shower was cold. Assistants was sent the gentleman told me that because the boiler is on the ground floor no matter what room we were in the water would be cold. He said no point of trying to switch rooms. I accepted but then pulled back the sheets other occupants hair everywhere. I called the front desk and they gave 2 complimentary breakfast. I explained all of this to the front desk Robert he said sorry that's all!!! This was booked thur a 3rd party but 231.00 for one night isn't cheap and the lack of here is some of your money back. Horrible experience and i would never recommend.
Disliked: Nothing

Very good

Liked: I stayed only one night. Clean room. There was no hairdryer but we asked to the reception and they got us one (they probably had to go buy it because it took one hour). It has an accessible underground car parking.

Bad

Liked: Nice staff/ location
Disliked: 20 story building w a tiny pool to share w only only about 5 lounge & seating chairs. Hot tub was out of service. Restaurant only open from 1130 to 130. Keva juice only open 3 days out of the week not weekends. Overly priced gift shop. Didn't let us play the piano in the lobby. Dog Poop in the elevator
