Great location, lovely hotel, modern...

Liked: Perfect location. Good parking. Clean rooms, friendly and helpful staff. Overall great stay.
Disliked: Spa facilities were limited. Nowhere to sit around the pool. Pool temperature was a little cold.

Liked: Food at Bohemian was very good. The bed was super comfortable. Close to ferry port.
Disliked: The bathroom door that hits your knees; the sink that is crotch height (for a room that is not for wheelchair access); the shower screen that didn’t stop water from flooding the bathroom and soaking the door. For a supposedly 5 star hotel, it feels they’re scraping by, trying to scrimp and charge guests as many extras as possible, resorting to selling sex toys and phone chargers in the mini bar for £25… the Easter chocolates were £19 for 9 - which did not look half as nice as the flyers and came in a box that was made for 12 chocolates with 3 gaps. Bohemia restaurant served a really nice lunch, but the decor was tired and dated. Staff were friendly and polite, but seemed very “reading off the script”, cleaning staff chatting in a group blocking people from walking to their rooms, vacuum cleaners and bags of laundry strewn in the corridor. They store luggage for checked out guests not in a secured room, but just on the stairwell. We just finished a bike tour in France and wanted to lock our bicycles safely, we were pointed to a space next to the washing room door, a cleaner shouted at us for trying to lock our bikes to the only railing there.

A perfect stay!

Liked: The room is nice and clean, and the view from the room is also quite good. The staff is friendly and helpful, helping us with the suitcases.
Disliked: None.

Liked: The Michelin star restaurant is a must do.Staff very friendly and accommodating. Very good for singles.Location excellent.

Okay, but did not feel...

Liked: Room was quiet, comfortable and spacious. Shower was powerful.
Disliked: Bathroom sink at knee height for no apparent reason (was definitely not an accessible bathroom), shower head caked in limestone and looked grotty, shower screen broken.I initially thought it was sweet that they had left a couple of madelines in a jar in the room, until I tried one, and it was horribly stale. The remaining one stayed in the room throughout the rest of my stay. Although the hotel is close to the centre of St Helier, it’s not in the nicest area and I didn’t feel very safe walking back alone at night.
