Hotel Description
With a beautiful cliff top location The Clifton boasts views of Sandown Bay from its lounge and garden. Leading onto Keats's Green it has a bistro that uses local produce in its menu. Many bedrooms have views of the Isle of Wight's coast and some have a balcony. Each room features free Wi-Fi a TV radio a private bathroom and free tea coffee and hot chocolate facilities. The dining room provides home-cooked food using seasonal ingredients from the nearby farmland. Special dietary requirements can be catered for. The bar stocks beers brewed on the Isle. The garden opens onto the Coastal Walk between Shanklin and Sandown. The picturesque Shanklin Old Village is a 5 minute walk away and Shanklin Chine and the beach are also just a short walk from the hotel.

Superb

Liked: Rooms were good size, clean, comfy bed, breakfasts were nice. Useful having a fridge in the larger room.
Disliked: Desk was in a darker corner so needed to have the desk light on when using it.

Short and enjoyable stay- Perfect...

Liked: Owners and staff very friendly and accommodating to any special requests. Superb breakfast every day. Perfect location for The Shanklin Chine, beachfront and close enough to the High Street and nearby restaurants. Thank you for an excellent stay.
