Comfortable & Chic stay by...

Liked: I cannot rave enough about this inn. From the elegant decor to the delicious spread for breakfast, each detail of the stay was a nice touch. I had the sun room and just being able to look out into the courtyard and beyond from the very comfortable window bench calmed my spirits. Also, the property was steps away from the cliff walk which was a bonus for me.
Disliked: Everything was wonderful and the staff beyond helpful and welcoming.

Perfect location for a girls...

Liked: Staff was excellent! They serve breakfast AND have a wine hour every afternoon. The property is beautiful.

Good room very poor breakfast

Liked: The room we had was really good. Perfect.
Disliked: Very expensive. Breakfast was really not good at all. No cooked food all pre prepared. Not what we expected seeing we paid £700 a night?? This is part of a chain. I thought this would be very personal serivice. It was not at all.

Liked: Comfortable, nice breakfasts, enjoyed mingling over wine and canapés
Disliked: No lift for heavy suitcases

Liked: Wonderful quiet location, easy parking and just steps from the Cliffwalk. Breakfast was awesome: tasty and healthy small bites of protein, fruit, grains and home baked biscuits.
Disliked: Our stay was just perfect!

Liked: By ocean. Old world decor with minimal trendy updates. Very luxe rooms. Great location by water. All around nice
Disliked: I wish or hope they don’t make it too trendy as old world is what people come to Newport for. Plus this house is a site of historic interest. The Gilded is too trendy and seems cheap. Very different clientele
