Beautiful hotel in an amazing...

Liked: Hotel was lovely, room was lovely
Disliked: Unfortunately being on top of the tube station we could hear the rumble of tube trains throughout our stay. Wasn't loud enough to prevent sleeping but I could see it would be an issue for some. Also due to a bit of what I feel was a language barrier when ordering food in the bar, I was presented with the wrong dish even though I was quite specific over what I was choosing, however the staff member was very apologetic and after a short wait I was given the correct meal which was delicious. We were also given 30% off the food bill for the little blunder which I was more than satisfied with so overall not much to complain about

Not quite perfect, but good.

Liked: The staff were great, very friendly and helpful. Great location, right next to the train and tube station. The bed was huge and extremely comfortable so we slept really well. The room was well insulated and quiet. And the food at dinner in the restaurant was very good, as was the service.
Disliked: The only disappointments were that the room was very cold and the thermostat didn't seem to work - increasing the heat setting had no effect. The bed had adequate covers to keep warm while sleeping and we were only there for two nights, so we didn't bother to report it. I'm sure they would have addressed it. The only other issue was that the poached eggs we ordered for breakfast were completely cold when they came to the table. This was true both mornings. Otherwise, the breakfast buffet was OK.
