Central location and excellent hosts.

Liked: Karen and Cherie were excellent hosts and were helpful and informative about the local area. . Our room was comfortable and provided all we needed. There was plenty of bedding to accommodate the changing temperature as the season changed. Local restaurants were good and plentiful
Disliked: Although the room had a heating unit it was not really adequate to keep the room warm. We were in Christchurch at the turn of the season into Autumn and found morning and evenings to be particularly cool.Car parking could be a problem as there were only 6 spaces but good use was made of the available space.
