The Clarendon Hotel is a family-run business located opposite Deal pier making it an ideal location for seaside lovers families and those looking for a relaxing escape from the city. Rooms are well equipped each with a flat-screen TV tea/coffee-making facilities a work area and a private bathroom with a hairdryer. Some guest rooms have views of the coastline and the shores of France on a clear day. There is free Wi-Fi access in the hotel's public areas. Guests are just a 5-minute walk from central Deal's rail station and a range of shops bars and restaurants. Deal pier is moments away on foot. 2 golf courses are within 15 minutes' drive. We have both sea view and non sea view rooms and suites available to book. All rooms are well equipped with flat-screen TV's tea/coffee making facilities desks fridges and a private private bathroom facility. All rooms also have a travel iron/ironing board and a hair dryer provided. We do not offer breakfast but provide complimentary items for the duration of your stay and all staff are more than happy to provide recommendations of local establishments that offer great food to suite all diet types and lifestyle choices. We are located within 15 minutes' drive from two prestigious golf courses and have a good network of public transport with bus stops and Deal train-station located within a 5 minute walk from the hotel. Please note that we do not provide hotel parking but are happy to offer suggestions for paid and un-paid parking nearby the property.

Lovely room, great view, good...

Liked: We really enjoyed our stay at the Clarendon. We stayed in the Smugglers Cabin. It was very clean and had all the things we needed. Great view and we met some staff, they were very helpful in answering our questions. Lovely place, would book again.
Disliked: Great view but couldn't open the window and I can understand that for safety as the room is at street level. So to let air in from time to time we had to leave the main door open for a few minutes.

Characterful overnight stay in Deal

Liked: Lovely room and the staff were helpful and friendly
Disliked: What The Clarendon offers is very good but obviously it doesn’t offer facilities such as breakfast. However there are places nearby such as the excellent cafe at the end of the pier.
