Liked: The staff were super lovely !
Disliked: The room was old, dusty and dirty. The smell of dust was overwhelming and made me feel unwell. It was super old and unclean. The carpet was rippling and covered in dust. The bathroom needs a good clean. The fridge had someone’s old dirty remains inside.

Exceptional

Liked: The staff are very welcome to people and our dogs. We were in a ground floor room facing the lake. Dog beach 3 mins walk away.
Disliked: Booking.com doesn't allow the hotel to specify which rooms are dog friendly. Be sure to phone or message hotel direct.

Superb

The aspect of the beach...

Liked: It’s on a lagoon and short walk to the beach.
Disliked: The noise. Constant very loud traffic. Located on a busy road. Noise from the hotel across the intersection. Loud thumping music until 11ish on the first night. Barking dogs belonging to people staying at the property. Grungy and smelly bathroom. Dangerous hot water system. Water temperature varied during shower. Became scalding as I tried to turn it off. Mould on window sill. Taps took many turns to turn on/off. Awful smell coming from drains.

Liked: Easy to find, good location, last minute booking to attend a funeral

Lovely place to do some...

Liked: The staff in the front office were both welcoming and a great help in planning our few days in the area. The two Irish ladies in the Cafe were fabulous so friendly and a bit of craic. It was easy to see why they have one the best breakfast awards. Would highly recommend.
Disliked: It would be fantastic if they had room to put in a Pool.

Great Stay On The Beach

Liked: We stayed 1st time last week...it's pet friendly in some rooms and that's what we wanted.Fantastic location, short walk across the sand to Terrigal shops. Great dog exercise area right out the front door.Staff were fantastic and made us feel welcome. Gave us a late check-out as well.A decent brekkie was included as well. We will be going back because it ticked Al the boxes.Nino
