Superb

Way more expensive than advertised,...

Liked: Clean
Disliked: Main water line hit in city, no water in morning until past check out. Offered bottled water for drinking & teeth brushing. HAD to pay $70/day for valet to be onsite or $70/day off site at another hotel no valet, or $35 every time you wanted to leave & come back at public parking down the street. No complimentary breakfast even after not having water 2 eggs, 1 meat, a few potatoes, juice & 1 coffee was $65.00! Without tip, and they charge gratuity but still have to tip servers, because not their fault.

Quick trip to DC

Liked: Staff was very friendly and helpful. They responded to our needs very quickly.Breakfast was available for an extra fee. There was also a limited dinner menu and bar. It was easy to get a taxi and close to a number of restaurants.
Disliked: The bathroom was very small and the lighting was poor.The air conditioning unit was very loud and rattled.There was a water main break on the street outside so we could not shower or use the toilet. There was no compensation because the hotel said it wasn't their fault.

Liked: everything was good, specially getting help with calling taxi
Disliked: bartender on 07/26 snapped at me when I asked for a glass of wine at 9:30 pm when restaurant supposed to be opened till 10 pm. I did not go back for next couple of day of stay as I went to other upscale restaurants. We lost water for a half of day (but staff gave us bottle of water)

Beautiful hotel but the parking...

Liked: The hotel was beautiful and very clean. The staff was very friendly. The location was good, not far from everything.
Disliked: The bathroom was tiny and the water pressure in the shower wasn't good. The parking situation was a nightmare. You don't really have a choice but to valet park because it's pretty much impossible to park on your own. So my stay cost considerably more than I was expecting.

Nice but would not go...

Liked: The location is great and in walking distance to a lot. The hotel is clean and well appointed.
Disliked: The staff weren’t rude, but also not friendly. Like the didn’t want to be there or go out of their way to be nice. The bar opens only at 5 so if you get in before 3 you either pay $50 for early check in or have to leave- though they do keep your luggage. I had to switch hotels due to availability and went next door to Generator and for the same price and location, it is a much better option in every way.

Good vLUE, HUGE ROOM, GOOD...

Liked: Room was very spacious, bed very comfortable, easy walk to Dupont Circle.
Disliked: No safe, a bit dated
