An enjoyable couple of nights...

Liked: We booked the disability accessibility room which was absolutely perfect for our needs. The staff were all friendly and helpful.Our meals in the restaurant were all very good and the breakfasts were great. We will definitely be staying again on our next visit to Royal Wootton Bassett.

Liked: Everything. Spacious and comfortable room, powerful shower. Good breakfast and the pub did good evening meals. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Location was great for our needs.
Disliked: Nothing to dislike really, the sat nav took us somewhere different as the postcode covers a large area, but that's not really their fault.

Lovely hotel let down by...

Liked: The rooms were clean and tidy and had everything we needed. Lovely cooked breakfast.
Disliked: - We arrived a little later than expected due to being stuck in a lot of traffic. When we arrived there was a mobile contact number to call. The phone rang behind the reception desk. We waited around for 30 mins before a guest made me aware that the staff were also working in the pub. -At breakfast we sat there for over 20mins before we had to ask if we’re were able to order our breakfast. I went and tried to get a coffee, there was none available at 9am and it took over 5 mins to get one. - We purchased a drink within the reception vending machine, as it dropped it had exploded. I turned to the receptionist and made her aware of what had happened. She was in her phone so I had to repeat myself. She stared at me for about 5 seconds before saying someone will clean it up. No apology, offer of replacement drink or refund. I went and spoke to a sort of manager in the pub and was told we don’t deal with the vending machines and just walked off. Customer service overall is lacking. Hotel itself very nice.

Good choice

Liked: Good choice of gluten free menusHad to send breakfast back today though as had gluten containing items on it. Was sorted very promptly but perhaps staff need to be very aware.
Disliked: Bed was a little soft and the chair in the room was hard!
